I have been working for months to get the final collectible for one of my tribes. Every day, I have my tribal chief lecture, and then when everyone has gathered, I have her point out a rare collectible. Finally, today, I got the final collectible that I needed. I grabbed a child, set her on the collectible, and guess what? Unbeknownst to me she was sick, and she was too slow to make it to the research table. I'm not sure I have the patience to go through this again!

Jomo! I'm really sorry for you. Not just for loosing the last collectable but I hope the little villager was alright. It happened to me once. She was taking the last collectable and she turned 14yrs. Well! you can imagine how I felt. I just turned the game off, I was so angry with myself. But, as luck would have it. It turned up again, so I paused the game to make sure the child wasn't to old to collect and hey presto! As laurence says, it will come again. Good luck

People wait months and months for one collectible, I don't think you should put so much pressure on yourself for that on thing, but if you really are determined to do it, I'm sure you'll find the patience in yourself to wait for it.

Thanks to everyone for replying. One of these days, I'll start trying again. Until then, as I continually hear from my villagers, it'll just be a lot of "Nope!!!"
