I've found the 7 magics, and now I am on to discovering ALL the fish. Anyone know how many types there are? and does the game have a log somewhere to tell me which ones I've got already and which ones I need, I looked around and don't see it, but I am HOPING it exists in some non-obvious place??

if not, I think I'll have to start a fresh game so I can log them as I com eacross them. I don't like the idea of having to buy all the research again though. *sigh*

If you go to your trophy section and you compare to the peeps on the internet, you can see how many fish you've discovered.
I don't dont how many species there are, but I assume that you have every type, with every fin, so calculate that out.
On the store poster is says there is over 400 different species...*sigh*...

I think I read somewhere that there was 440 something in all...but I could be wrong. It could be more or less then the 440s...

As for seeing what all you have discovered so far, I dont think there is but you can just keep buying eggs and hatching them and mutating them until you find them all too...that also works. Or you can just mate up different ones of the same species like take the pink one for example...mate up so you get pink shark, beta, ect, or go by like pink shark, silk shark, until you get them all. You see what I am getting at? The only problem with that is making sure that your gonna get what you want.

There are 441 (21 squared) different species. If you make a spreadsheet that have fins-by-bodies you can fill in each square as you "discover" the species. Along with the chart you can download from this forum or one that you make yourself with which fin or body combos make which fins or bodies (or use the clever arts site) you can figure out what "recipe" you need for each fish.
