I went in to play with my villagers (VV#) and found all the alchemy things strewn about the village which I thought was weird. Then I noticed that the buildings, lift, bath, etc that I had completed had reverted back to zilch. My puzzles are all gone, my orchard is gone, the bees are back etc. Only thing not gone is the collectibles, the tech levels I have bought and all my people are still at the same ages and skill levels. Oh yes, and research points are fine, but food dropped drastically.

Any ideas, anyone???

According to LadyCFII, this is a glitch in the game that was discovered after the game was released. You may find more information about this issue in this post.

Same here!!!!!!!!! I got all the alchemy lab stuff back, the blackboard appears and my master builders do "nothing" at the board! I have all my tech points and levels but I can't seem to get anywhere! I looked up how to do the "save game" thing but don't understand it. Someone out there computer savy enough to walk me through it in lay man's terms?????

The backup savegame file normally won't help in this situation, since it has usually been overwritten, too. The only thing that would help is if you had created your own backups of the files, which you probably haven't done.

Have you tried putting your villagers to work completing the more basic projects first?

Yes I have. I had them try all kinds of things! I had one clear the roster.... done. I had purchased all the tech I needed for the statue and then work stopped. NOW I see the statue is all done! I have the chief and 2 builders doing the rain dance but it doesn't show up in my solved puzzles. I can't get them to fix the lift nor draw up plans for the bath. Am I doing something wrong?

What we've found is that many people forget exactly how they solved the puzzles in the first place. How many builders (and what training level) are you using for the lift? What happens if you drop a builder on the bath? You're also a little off with your solution for the rain dance. You can't solve the puzzle with builders.
