Yep, i miss the leader board. For many reasons. Mostly, i like comparing myself to others' progress, but mostly, to see how close i am to finding all required things... One thing i am having issues with is the inability to find rare collectibles. The chief does NOT point to rare items, but to the next item no matter rarity or commonality and then you have to wait another 24 hours for that chance to be shown again that you are not shown a rare item... FRUSTRATING. And please, tell me, what does the chief's lecturing do for the children and adults... So far i can see no reason for doing so.. And why did everything i build on my first go round go kablooie whilst i was sleeping in realtime?

The chief does not physically point to a rare collectible. However, a rare collectible will appear on the map; it's unlikely, though, to be in the direction the chief is pointing. If you are finding non-rare collectibles they are a bonus. Often two or three collectibles will appear around the same time at all stages of the game.

The chief lecturing the whole tribe serves no 'useful' purpose as such.

The chief lecturing the children Does have a purpose though, when you have level two leadership.

Just put the chief onto a child once every 24 hours, and then all the children will run for a lecture. They will stand there for a while then a little sparkle will appear above their head and they gain one bar of skill.

This is Really useful, as it saves you training them when they get to 14, they can start straight away and know what to do \:D

I liked the Awards and I must admit I miss the leader board in my states to see how of thiis and that I had. for example so many babies

I also noticed that if you paused the game over night and still can get your chief to lecture children at24 hours. I did this when I first started the game and most of the children had all 5 skills some higher than others and I never run out of food

Correct. All chief timers operate on real time, not game time. Therefore you will be able to use his abilities many times within a single Isola year, if you keep the game paused.

I, too, miss the "leaderboard" stats page. I also *love* the awards page. It's perfect for those of us who could never come close to the top of the stats list... it's our own personal 'leaderboard'. However, I agree with 'YummyMummy' that it would be cool if the awards page had some kind of progress indicator for some of the awards. Either way, like most here have said, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE VV3 and its various additions!!! Well done, LDW! You've outdone yourselves once again!

I think it would be nice to have stats for my personal use, but I think a stats leaderboard is just not workable without more anti-cheat measures in the game.

And seeing as I like messing with things I can't mess with, mere image-modding is not enough for me; if more stringent measures were taken against cheating, I would want more extensive support for mods. For example, the ability to script your own events, triggers, and etc into the game, which could utilize custom images; this would provide support, limited to what the script could provide, for custom-making puzzles.

It doesn't have to be a lot; I don't have to be able to re-write the whole game. But support for making some tasks of my own would be very nice. One of the first things I would write, if a mod for it didn't exist, is a building task for VV3 that could be 'reset' so that builders could be trained at any time.

I found the leaderboard frustrating, but I liked the stats.

I love the awards, they are an extra goal for the game to make it more fun. But I do miss the stats and the leader board
