Why did the programmers have to make the Village men so darn ugly? With the exception of the shaggy haired Tarzan types, I think the guys are really hard to look at. For twins all I can get are the black-haired giant afro helmet head males, and I just got my first set of triples -- the brown short-haired males that look 70 years old when they are 2 and get uglier as they get older! One is bad enough to look at but three...ugh.

But my VV1 clan has the Ugliest Tribe Award all sewn up. It includes:

Albino Girl, Dwarf Boy with odd looking scrunched face, a half-bald male I named Monkey Boy for his resemblance to same, a bald coconut head male I named Ghost Boy, two males with a receding hairline at birth, a male with both a big head AND a receding hairline, the ponytail guy who looks like a girl, and a male with the most gigantic head I have ever seen, who looks suspiciously like the Elephant Man. I'm beginning to think my tribe ate bad mushrooms and it's turning them all into mutants!

I don't really mind the Albino, but all the others....eh.

But the game was good.
I'm happy I got some pretty Villagers, though. Some are the Village Men look well.

If you really hate the villagers' looks (and most of us do have a few we don't like), why not try modding your game. Have a look at the mods threads for some more info

I have not had an Albino, but the one I hate the most and I have loads of them, is a girl whose face is brown but has white legs, and she has red hair in a pony tail.

Some of them look so old even when tiny.
And some look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. No neck!

yes, and i don't like any of the villagers face: because their soft hair. althoung you may think i dislike the baldys: instead, i like the baldys.

I personally am in love with coconut an rock heads *The ones with big fros one brown one black* Seroiusly try modding. It can get rid of the ugly faces sometimes but i'm here for you some villagers are downright werid looking. Maybe we should swtich tribes mines full of *gulp* beatiful people!

Hehe I agree that VV1 has some weird lookin boys, I'm so glad they made nicer ones for VV2 and 3!

I usually end up only breeding the nice looking ones in VV1 (I know it has no bearing on appearance in VV1) but I always think, 'no girl would fancy You, you don't deserve time in the love shack!'

Not a hard-and-fast rule; there are exceptions. But I find that Arnie is right. My favorite people are inwardly fascinating, and I've discovered that the most beautiful people don't often seem to develop such depths.

Like I said, it isn't a rule, there are some beautiful people who are interesting too . . . there just don't seem to be as many of them. Maybe they just don't want to talk to me?

hehe! Hey, why not send in a pic of the village? You can do this by pressing the print screen button on your keyboard (usually next to scroll lock) and then pasting it into a program like paint shop pro, microsoft paint, or photoshop. I think it would be quite funny since all my villagers had like flowing green dresses and purple hair, and the men were all cute!

I noticed a ugly villager in VV3 but as he grows old his ugly looks turn into a kindly white haired granddad that turns from ugly to attrative like a ugly duckling that was really a swan

I don't always pay attention to the looks, sometimes I just find it necessary that they should be working.

i HATE the albino girls. however, i like the pony-tail-hairstyled-red-haired-girl. what i like the most is the girl with soft, black hair and despite a little bit gray on her face, she looks perfectly pretty.
