K, Only if you reeeally don't have the patience should you use this information...I recently purchased Fish Tycoon for Windows PC. The best way to pass time while you're waiting for pregnant fish to give birth, grow, etc... is to simply look at the time on the bottom right of your monitor, take note of what time it is then turn off Fish Tycoon, double-click the time and set the clock ahead two hours or so. That way when you restart the game again it will be tricked into thinking that 2 hours have gone by...then DON'T FORGET TO SET THE CORRECT TIME AGAIN!! Hehehe Sneaky....I know...but it works!

That 'trick' has always worked for all of LDW's real-time games. But, before anyone uses that method, they should seriously consider the effect on other applications from changing the system clock. If you use your PC (or other device) only for games, it might not be a big deal, but changing the system clock will affect everything from time-sensitive applications to time-stamps in your file system. All sorts of difficulty could arise from that situation.

But that doesn't mean that it's a growth hormone!

i know this is kinda silly but another way i like to pass the time is to pull up this forum when im selling. it definitely makes the time go by seemingly quicker and i just keep reading and searching until a while of no "ka-chings" has gone by. usually all the fishies are gone by then!

That's what I always do platinumgarb. It does make the time faster. I'm working on my 5th Magic Fish right now! YAY!

I've been breeding the other 4 magic fish I've found and I have got $3,000.00 in the bank!

When I was messing with my computer time to speed the game up, I accidentally changed the date, and when I went back all my fishies were dead except for one, and it was almost dead! =( I had to start all over again!
