Can anybody tell me what the questionmark next to the fish means? (in people's thought bubbles)

Hi Matzika,

I'm reasonably new to this game too. I've come up with a couple of different possibilities for what I think the question mark beside the fish in people's thought bubbles means.

What sort of fish is that?
OR
Where are the fish that I want.

Yeah, where are they? Especially when you have only one sale tank!!!

How about the big red S! in the thought bubble? That's about the only one I can't figure out. I thought at first, oh that's a sick fish, checked, nope, no sick fish... Then I got a sick fish and it was a completely different bubble for that one. (I'm naughty, I tried to sell the sick fish before it died, cuz I couldn't get the right medicine just then.) So... S! <-- Thoughts?

It's a dollar sign - the little lines can be hard to see on some displays!

I dunno... I saw the dollar sign, it's green.. The S didn't look quite the same, but I will see if I can notice small details on it. Thanks for the answer.

The green dollar sign means that they like the prices, the red one means that they think you've set your prices too high.

I never noticed that either! I better pay more attention to the actual pictures in the thought bubbles. What does the one with the orange stripe fish with a question mark next to it mean? Are they looking for that particular fish? Or just casually wondering what fish are in there?

It's like the diver and the sign. It maybe means that they're looking for a fish (or for the diver).

Ok, thanks. It's good that they're only looking for "a" fish, and not that one... I think they'd have to sync over to my Palm to buy that one.

Though it does sort of look like the Snout in the PC version. Sort of... sideways.

Edit; ...I'm such a dork! I just looked at my fish in the PC version and the Fruitfish looks JUST like the one in the Palm version. lol! I should know these fish inside out by now...(ew! that made me think of sushi)
