Also, in VV2, the image is the same as that used for the objects you cut down the trees around the cave with. So it must be edged in some manner or another.

Puzzle games can make you realize that you're not always as bright as you think.

My knife was lying propped at an angle among the "rubble" in the south, its handle blending in with the rocks. I must have vaguely wondered what it was a dozen times. Then, having collected 4 containers (the first one said it was best left for an Adept Scientist), I read in the hints that I needed FIVE objects to solve a puzzle--and the next time I passed the knife, I *finally* twigged to it!
