Hi all, can i just say what a fantastic game this is! i've been playing it for just over a week and can't leave it alone, the pc is on constantly, as soon as i get up in the morning im there feeding and checking. the kids are moaning they want their dinner, the old man comes in from work and im there at the fish tank, he just laughs and calls me sad! funny tho. he sits watching them, everytime my backs turned one of the kids are there touching looking at the little fishes, it certainly keeps me occupied. just fed up now cos i cant find no.6 , ill keep searching tho i know its there somewhere. have looked at other threads and found out what its called at least and how u make it.
also why when i buy the expensive eggs do i get the same fish as i already have? i thought there'd be some different ones. not much else to do now i have purchased all i can and have $25,000 oh how i wish it was real!!!

That's great that you're enjoying the game so much! Hopefully your family will survive your addiction!

There is some duplication of the fish from the common and unusual eggs in the rare eggs. That's unfortunate, since they are so expensive, but there are also a lot of fish that don't come from any other eggs! Of course, you could always buy the other two kinds of eggs, and breed new fishies yourself!

I agree with you totally, Sulky, and it sounds like we are living the same life! Only thing is it's my grand kids that want dinner, not my kids.

I've been playing a little over a week, and found my last magic fish a couple hours ago. I resisted the temptation to get any hints on breeding the magics, and have been looking for the last one for two days.

Now that I've found everyone (and taken screen shots for each fish's species info) I'm starting a new game and seeing how fast I can find them all. Setting up the new tank is the downside, but I want to try to keep my dead fish minimum and see how fast I can get the tanks running with all 7 magics.

I just love this game. I breed fish years ago, and always loved it. This is all the fun with none of the work or expense. I've always wanted a simulation game, but none really interested me. This one is RIGHT ON!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

I got to say i have 3 games on the go!! ive just finished researching environment on the 2 youngest games so no more dead fishes hopefully, tho i do keep getting quite a lot of diseases. My main game now is really taking off, breeding the canary fire arrow, speckled leaffish and the crimson comet, my money is certainly goin up. the canary fire arrow is selling for 275 now and going like hot cakes. the comet for 180 and the leaffish for 120, ill get there(in between lunch and house work lol).

I have four games going, and when I came home from work today, I finally completed the set in one of the games (I gotten all seven already, just not all in the same game.

I admit that I looked up some of the information, but I also did a lot of research on my own. My fin and body matrices are almost complete and I'll probably see if I can find all 441 species. Times like this, I wish there was a log to know which combos are missin, I started keeping track on a game-by-game basis, but soon lost track of that.

I'm also going to try to see if I can find all of the "right" matches for bodies and fins...

Sulky, one of the tips in the sale room says something to the effect that if the fish are selling fast, they might be priced too low. Try raising the price of your Canary Fire-Arrow, and see if she'll make you even more money!

I haven't been playing long. I installed the demo version on December 24, and on December 27 I paid for the full version!

(I was disappointed that there were too many limits on what the demo could do, but I was already addicted. )

Sulky, one of the other posters mentioned selling them for about $375, which is about where I sell mine at too, as it's the highest I seem to be able to go without going mad waiting for them to sell. lol.

Yet, in the handheld version of FT, I swear I remember getting them up to $400 each, but I just can't seem to sell them at that price in the Windows version, even waiting an hour in the sales room!

And I'm thinking that maybe each game is slightly different from the next too. Just in the Windows version alone, I can sell one of the early fish fairly easily at $109 but in another game (different player) I can only sell the same fish for $106! I try moving either up by even a dollar, and they don't sell. lol, go figure.

Hi... I sell my canary fire arrow's at $450, and they go like hotcakes!! I guess it is different for everyone.
