Tkdgrl, different types of players might appreciate that more - many here have expressed dissapointment that there's no 'payoff' when they 'finish' the game. I personally think that the VV games are about the journey, not the destination; a view that I also hold of life. But obviously others disagree, and would probably more appreciate a concrete ending.

I haven't played EEP, but isn't their side-games "borrowed" from other games?(Like from Diner Dash)

Does EEP has any new ideas, not the borrowed one?

I agree. I too enjoy the journey more than I would a payoff. I play numerous other games for pay-off satisfaction, but when a game gives you the chance to call most of the shots, enjoy the journey to it's fullest. We all know, life just doesn't work that way, and VV is a fantastic escape when you are tired of escaping into the boob-tube...lol.

I actually haven't played VV1 and VV2 much since completing everything because it felt like it was over. VV3 is so versatile, that I may be playing it for quite some time. However, VV3 has given me more insight as to what I may still be able to do with the other 2 so I may go back and play them again.

VV wins hands down!!!

I'd be here till christmas if I listed all the reasons why, so I'll give you my favourite.

On vv games you get a PROPER trial of the game. Theres no silly 60 min limit, but most of the features are locked. This provides players to get to know the game properly without feeling pressured to spend $60.

That's only on the Mac version, and only when you download the Mac demo directly from LDW. The Windows version always has a 60-minute trial.

I totaly agree with you Becca 123. They made a big mistake puting down Virtual Villager games in my books. I think i'll complaine to them about it. Nothing compares with LDW games, as far as i'm concerned! \:\) \:\)

I own Escape from Paradise and Virtual Villagers 1, 2 and 3. In my opinion, Virtual Villagers is better. As a matter of fact, I hardly play EFP, it's kind of boring.
