I love the background music! It is so relaxing. Is there by any chance a soundtrack available, or does anyone know what music they use for the background so I could just buy it myself?

The music was composed and produced specifically for VV3 by Somatone Interactive Audio and is not available separately from the game. \:\)

I know, I love the music as well, its so calm and relaxing, and often I really miss the familiar soundtracks of Virtual Villagers 1. If you download a music/media converter, you can convert the music to mp3s or wavs, and burn them to a disk. There is nothing like tribal music before bed - LOL.

Why don't you just go into the program files of the game and copy the music files so you can listen to them separately \:D

I love the music too, of all the Villagers games - it's exactly the right style and mood for the game!

I honestly don't know what the VV music sounds like, as I always have the volume down and listen to my own music compilationthat I have downloaded.

From commercial sites after paying the proper fees, of course. <cough>

The soundtrack is pretty nice ambient fare, relaxing and good to leave playing when you're reading a book or whatnot - not distracting. I wouldn't listen to it just to listen to music, though.

Again, I'm inserting my two-cents into the forums... sorry for that.
I,too, absolutely love the background music from the VV games, particularly this third one! In the beginning, as I was acquainting myself with the (awesome) new part of the island, I realized that the music was so soothing. I think it's set that way to compensate for when my villagers make me angry. \:\) Anyhow, that's my input... I'm running away now. \:\)

You're apologizing for using the forums for their intended purpose? \:\/

Next you'll apologize for apologizing. Don't worry about it! That's what these forums are here for! Post more! Post your two cents! Post your twenty bucks! (I need some cash, anyway.) It only enriches the forum to have more people posting.
