FT notified me that I had the Magic Fish of Growth, Oriental Goldbulb. I looked in Tank One and it wasn't there. I looked in Tank Two and it was there. I checked what breeding led to that fish then went back to look at it in Tank Two and it was dead.

I have no idea why. It's still listed in the Trophy Room. Any thoughts?

Have you researched the Environment of your Tanks?

I have level 2 of both food and environment.

Was it sick?

The Oriental Goldbulb requires Level 3 of Fish Environment to live.

If a fish lives to 20 it becomes an adult. If you haven't bred that variety before it will then count as a new breed discovered even if it promptly dies, as happened to you. The fact that it was a magic fish makes no difference. It still counts as a magic fish discovered, although, since it is no longer alive, it will not confer its magical properties on the other fish.

Or perhaps it was sick and you didn't notice.

You do need level 3 environment to maintain this fish but you can get away with level 2 if you sell them as soon as they reach adulthood (age 20).

Once you discover a magic fish it always stays in your trophy room even if you sell it, or if it dies.
