Dear Everyone, First, my kid and I love the new villagers. Beautiful! On my 4 yr old's tribe, her fruit trees haven't regenerated in over a week. Sometimes we let the game run on high speed for a few hours during the day, paused at night. We've got almost all the puzzles done, and only need third level in alchemy, medical, last of magic. I'm wondering if it's something I did... I did cheat in the beginning and was upping the time on my computer clock. Did I mess up the game's time clock for the trees? Oh, and of course there's no honey either. No bees to pollenate the trees? I'm baffled...and on MY tribe I'm not going to mess with the clock, but a four year old's patience is pretty thin LOL ~ Any comments/advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Rebecca and Elizabeth

Nature gives you a lot more food. From what another person said: Fruit trees gives 111 food every 3 hours. Make sure everyone is not farming(yes, not even one)!

Rebecca, the fruit trees will not sustain a village once the initial supply is exhausted. When the small fruit replenishment does appear, it's usually quickly harvested by the farmers, and it's possible that you'll never see it. The same thing is true of the honey. What Lailai was alluding to is that the only way to know for sure if the fruit is replenishing is to prevent villagers from farming long enough to monitor the trees. If villagers are fishing, they will often harvest any fruit or honey that's available, as well.
Messing with the system clock can adversely affect the entire real-time engine, and game malfunctions are likely if you're not very, very careful how you go about it.

It sounds like your villagers are still unable to fish, which could be a huge problem with a population that large. The initial food supplies in all VV games are limited and won't support a very large population. In VV3, if you grow the population beyond about 10-12 villagers before you have an unlimited food supply, you will need to hunt mushrooms a lot to prevent starvation.

How many villagers are farmers? With 28 villagers you need probably three farmers at a minimum. I reckon on one farmer for every ten villagers. They can probably feed up to 12 but are unlikely to build up stocks of food.
