I have been working on the Statue puzzle for weeks! But my dang villagers wont finish it, I'll quit out of the game for a day when there are 12 hours left leave it on 2X speed and come back the next day to find only 5 minutes progress has made and all the builders have been shircking their job and eating and the Chief has gone to help the researchers!!! Does anyone know how on Earth I am meant to complete this puzzle?

Also I've got about 15 villagers working on it.

What version do you have?
If you click on the Menu button, it will be in the left hand corner of the screen.

You need to download the latest version: 1.0004. It contains lots of new and helpful changes for VV3 and I can almost guarantee it will solve your problem. If it doesn't, try posting this in the Technical Issues thread where LadyCFII regularly checks, you might get a quicker and more helpful answer

If the Chief is not directing the builders for the Statue, they will not push it!!
The problem is that he maybe was distracted by a sick villager, for example, and he didn't come back to the statue. Or something like that!
If you have the right version of the game (1.00.04) and you look them closely, you'll succeed it!

I check every post here, too, Laurence! This sounds very much like the problems that were fixed in v1.00.04. This answer in our Support FAQ has details about the problem and how to get the latest version.

Thanks for the help everyone. I finally got the statue puzzle complete . It turns out I had version 1.00.01, I thought there might have been something like a glitch that was causing the problems!
