Hello! To my mind, the saga "Virtuals villagers" is one of the most merveillous and fascinating game I have never seen.

But, there is a litte problem...except the first, any virtuals villagers are traducted in other language that english...

I'm a young French of fourteen, it's why I hope you will can understand my post... \:\?

If I have some difficulties to write, I can understand the vocabulary of the game (events - actions), but there is many people of my country who can't, and who would be very happy to comprehend which happens at theirs villagers...

Can we esperate a traduction in french of "the Lost Childrens", and later of "the Secret City"?

Have a nice day everyone...!

Traduction . . . do you mean translation?

EDIT: Checked a translator. "Traduction" does translate into "translation" from French to English.

Là aussi je suis d'accord!! Here too I agree! It would be really, really nice!!

Bonjour Felinya! Bienvenue au forum!
Tu parle rudement bien l'anglais!

(Hello Felinya! Welcome to the forum!
You speaks very well English indeed ! I am a French woman of 50 years old and my English dates from the school but I manage. It is an excellent exercise! \:D And then on this forum, everybody is so friendly and understanding!
You could put a message in the section "Introduction"!)

Hey, maybe make a language file like this:
Quote:

title=Virtual Villagers: The lost children
helptext1=Your villager is growing even
...

It might make the game slower, but maybe more people will buy the game

I don't think it'll slow things down; after all, programming doesn't normally load what it doesn't use. If you support seven hundred languages, only one will ever be used at a time. It will make the game more bulky to ship with all the translation text, but the game is so small as it is that I don't see it being an issue if they stick to the common languages. (English, German, French are most common, I seem to see, with Italian and Spanish running-up. I guess Italian and Spanish gamers aren't as numerous.)
