If you are using your PC or handheld device for "real work," toying with the system clock can affect everything from calendar-based applicaions to backups. Some people may not want to do that.

You also risk killing all of your fish if you make a mistake setting the clock, or if the system clock is automatically adjusted by the operating system or another application (many people have this setting on their devices).
