My villager has been caring for baby for 6 hours now, I haven't paused the game for any length of time, it's a problem because I found out, through process of elimination that she's my Chief and I need her to put on the robe and get to directing work!! I've tried quitting the game and reopening it but nothing worked, she's still at 123 minutes!!

It will make around 8 hours. If you play at slow speed, it's not really amazing. \:\)

I'm not playing at slow speed, I'm playing at FAST! It hasn't happened before, she's had no obscure events that may make this happen, (I had one event in VV2 that made something similar happen) I'm getting quite frustrated with it, it's like the game is in super slo-mo for her!!

The nursing timer is one of the most finicky in the game, because of the different way timer updates are handled. It can be adversely affected by small changes in the system clock (every operating system updates the system clock to maintain accuracy, unless that function has been disabled) or pausing the game frequently to assist with getting multiple collectibles. Whatever the cause, it will correct itself eventually.

If you lost power to your computer while the game was running, you can lose up to 10 minutes of game play. The game saves automatically every 10 minutes, but can't save the game if the power goes out. When you start it back up, it will "calculate" the game state from that last save point, and things may very well be different from before the failure.

Thanks for all your replies. It did sort itself out, she was nursing baby for a full total 9 hours. I didn't know you could pause to collect muliple collectibles, but I viewed the thread on it and I will do that now!!!
