Hi. I'm having a problem amongst my Nature Tribe, Lotus Li Moon. I have the maximum population that you can have with only one hut fixed (17 people), and I'm trying to fix up the other hut so I can have more people. My tribe is doing well all in all, but the builders are having a tough time actually staying focussed on the hut. I have four people working on the hut: Three of them being Master Builders and one being a Master Scientist whom I'm training to be a Master builder as well, I also have my chief directing them. They work fine when I'm watching them, although I occasionally have to put them back to work when they try to clear the rubble, but as soon as I leave, they get maybe one to two percent done on the hut, then they all transfer to the rubble. By the time I get back, they have one percent more of the rubble cleared, but no one is at the hut. At this time, they all go running back to the hut where my chief is directing thin air to work. I'm wondering if there's a way to stop them from shifting their attention to the rubble, because I don't think I can babysit them all day.

You should either seperate your group, half the people on the rubble and the other the hut. Or, maybe you should work on one at a time.

Thanks you two, I understand now. It hapenned earlier to. I would have them research(to get the unlimited food source before starvation became an issue) and they would go to the bath, and from there to the rubble.
But I think I'll let them work on both now. ^-^ Thanks again.

Clearing the rubble does work the same way; once the villager picks up a rock he/she gains skill, but if you drag the villager away no progress is made with the task.

The best way is to keep dropping them on the huts to repair them. The problem is that, unlike VV1 and VV2, villagers won't do that themselves so you have to keep intercepting them when they wander off and re-drop them. The other way is even more convoluted. You can feed them an exercise potion. If they succeed, they'll gain a little building skill.
As mentioned above, though, the very best way is to avoid the problem by keeping back a building project on which to train the builders. Possibly too late now, though ...

This thread isn't marked with a spoiler tag so I can't mention too many details, but have you gotten all of the tech yet kjc51?
