After you complete the first hut to enable a population max of 15....do repairs on the "Love Shack" need to be completed before you can achieve a pregnancy?

I delay repairs on the love shack for as long as possible. I use it to train new builders; it takes less time than all the other building tasks for them to complete a "cycle", so they advance more quickly. Unfortunately the other builders will generally wander off from their assigned tasks and finish repairing it without my permission.
