I'm new to Plant Tycoon and just downloaded Virtual Seed Tray the other day. Thanks, Borg, for allowing me to free up a lot of space without having to trash all my seeds!

Anyway, this is the problem I'm having: transferring seeds to VST goes fine, but I can't seem to transfer any back. When I reopen PT, the seeds are not there. I close PT first, press Save, exit VST, reopen PT. Can anyone think what might be going wrong? By the way, I keep having to tell Constant Gardener to look for my pots - is this because I keep closing/opening PT so much to use VST? I am on Vista - could this have anything to do with it?

Any help much appreciated.

Are you refreshing your game stats on the stats screen? That has been known to cause problems, and there is an update to the VST that corrects this problem. Please look here.

Thanks for quick reply! Do you ever rest?!!! Anyway, refreshed stats once days ago, then read in forum that it affected VST, so haven't done it since. I will try the update, but will I lose the seeds in the current VST?

No, you shouldn't lose seeds. In fact, most people have reported that seeds they previous lost were recovered by using the updated VST.

Downloaded VST from your link (3rd time; 2nd time was also from that location). Still have the same problem. Don't know what to do now.

Are you following the instructions exactly for moving seeds? The only thing that I can think of is that you are missing a key step when moving the seeds (maybe forgetting to click on the arrows in the center column after selecting the seeds you want to move?).

I've definately been clicking on the arrows - goes fine from PT to VST, but not from VST to PT.
