I have a real problem with my kids dropping collectibles on their way to the scientists.....they kind of run round in a circle then the collectible disappears.

So annoying!!

This was especially bad when it was the last rare pebble I needed grrrr......

Is there any way to fix this or is it just an annoying thing you can't do anything about?!

I haven't played VV2 in a while, but if I'm not mistaken, isn't this when a collectible times out while a child is carrying it?

What a swizz!! I thought once it had been picked up it couldn't time out because it's already been collected?!

I suppose I'll just have to be quicker next time...

No, it's when they get stuck in a sticky spot on their way to the lab.

There's a really bad sticky spot right behind the lab, for example, so I've had several bugs be dropped. All the bugs in question had appeared in the very center (right under the gong) of the cleared briars. The kids would go straight down from there, get stuck, and drop the item.

There's also a sticky spot next to one of the huts, which can sometimes get them when they're coming from the mosaic or from the direction of the wood pile.

It doesn't happen often, so it's not that big a deal, but I have had a rare bug be dropped... and I didn't have that bug yet!

I haven't had this happen at all in VV3 yet, so I'm hoping it was fixed.

The sticky spot on the mosaic gets me all the time. I've lost many mushrooms and the last rare pebble I needed.

It's happened to me once in VV3.
