I just got a master parent to teach the kids in VV2, and they all ran up to form a perfect little diamond!

Just drop a parent - I believe an adept will do? Onto a child, any child, and school is in session. No need to gather them one by one.

Too bad it doesn't do anything actually useful.

Cute is not useful in and of itself.

I do it to get them out of the way - hehe! When they are being taught, at least they stand still for 5 mins!!!

It is parenting practice for the teacher, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah it is... if you keep doing that you can get a keep uping there skill in parenting which is good if your population is at max and you are trying to make a new parent for that time when the population is no longer maxed

It's also a good way to train up parents (if you want elders or joats - I know you don't get an award for this in VV2 but you can still strive for one) with people you might not want to breed, or with women who are too old.

It's so cute how the kids all come running and line up by age. But sometimes I'll have a kid or two that gets stuck. So I pick them up put them in the village center then put the teacher back on so ALL the kids can learn.

no thoose are the orginal hair colors the game had.

Nope I didn't download the hair, they all happen to be blonde because in that game I bred them that way

Dirty blond isn't going to be easy - light brown is on one side of the redheads, and the darker blondes on the other side - you'll always be close to redhead territory, and you'll never manage to get both the darker blondes and the lighter brows together without producing lots of redheads.

yeah i knwo it's so hard. but i'm managing. currently i have 2 redhead females and no red head males. Well maybe my ideal range is dirty blond to light brown. I have a main guy who I try to father all. and I try to match him with girls with same hair color but with the range the first red head is one below perfect average.
Acording to Complexity's gentics guide my ideal male and female head is 21 so if i have a 21m and a 21f there is the chance of a 20f/20m aka redhead.

I love breeding tribes with the same hair colour, especially in a situation like my original screen grab - they look so cute together!

There should actually be a chance of 19, as well. It shouldn't be possible to maintain both sides of the redheads unless you VERY carefully control breeding . . . which I just don't have the patience for. THIS is the kind of situation that 'marriage' suggestion for VV4 would be good for -- it would allow you to aim for hair colors without worrying that giving them parenting skills will have them kissing everyone in the village when your back is turned.

Though the chance of a 19 I think only 5 of my hundred villagers where 19 heads. Ok i just checked 24 of my 232 villagers have had 19 heads. I have this one main guy who fathered many of the kids since he died I named his eldest son with the same hair after him. He was Kumi his son Kumi JR... currently Kumi XII.

Five out of a hundered is one out of twenty. Pretty good considering there are thirty heads - better than average.

24 out of 232 is even better - a shade over one out of ten.

The strangest head I've had is a 2(I think they came over the waterfall as an event then they had kids, kids where 11heads mainly) when most are high teens low 20s.

I have one more 19 head... O wait one more. so thats two so that equals 26/248. and i got a 12 head also

This thread is beginning to read rather disturbingly. "I've got a ... head", "I want a ... head", and so on.

I use my master scientist. When the kids, usually 5-6 kids, are around the scientist area, I drop the master in front of them. The master scientist can teach. I have found that OTHER masters can tell ONLY stories.
I have my population up to 100 MAX,as there seems to be NO more to build. That's what it said when I reached 100 today. I have around 30, 5 sets of twins, 1 set of triplets,the rest singles, kids UNDER 13.
It is soooooooooo funny to see the kids playing tag.It looks like a GIANT TRAIN going thru the village.
I have found, to keep population going, to COUNT the old people and your 13-14 yrs olds, then start making babies from your 19-30 age groups, STOPPING at the 35 age. I do about 6 -10 babies at a time. That way as they age, when they get to the LEARNING age, you have that many more NEW professionals as the villagers age.
This is my 1st time getting ALMOST thru the WHOLE game. All I am waiting for now is to let the pts rise to get the EXPLORATION tech.
I learned ALSO to COMPLETE farming FIRST, as that will keep the food going, building SECOND, as that keeps the building coming,fertility THIRD, as that grows the population, culture, FOURTH, as that gets the scientist to cut the vines near the dam,that tells the story of Isola,the hospital built, I had 3 master drs., and the scientist find a 5th herb. science FIFTH, as the scientist start to UNCOVER the moizac tiles, and exploration LAST. Just waiting to see what that will bring to the END of the game.
I was wondering when I FINISH the game, WHAT HAPPENS? Do I just keep ADDING to the population? Will there be OTHER things for the villagers to EXPLORE?
I MIGHT go on a SPENDING SPREE, as I HAVEN'T BOUGHT the tribe ANY clothes since I started the game.
I can't WAIT til DEC. to get VV4, as that is my Christmas present from hubby.
I have all 3 of VV'S. I'm going to do VV3 next. I played it SEVERAL times to a certain point, then I forget about it. I want to COMPLETE all 3 of the games. I'll leave VV1 for LAST.
As each game comes into play, each one is SEPARATE on it own as far as challenges.
Keep up the good work LDW techs. LOVE all the 3 VV'S games so far.
