Why are Doctors SOOOOOO lazy.... They want to cool their feet or take a vacation at the beach or wander around aimlessly never doing their jobs!!! If the creators had built a golf course and gave points for golf... I'd have a master in no time.

Actually, I'm thinking of doing a little experiment by making a bad health potion... take away all the doctors and watch them die except one. Hopefully, he'll finish med school before all his classmates kick the bucket!

You need your doctors if you want not to see the other villagers dieing of sickness!
When they are select as "doctors" (the only manner to be sure that they'll heal someone by their own) they will study the plants until they are Adept doctor, then they stop studying by their own and to increase their skills they must heal or you have to make them studying the plants.
It's as they consider that adept doctor is enough for the village's health!
But I have som Master Doctors!

I had a Master Doctor in the game I just had to end. She too stopped studying on her own and I forced her to keep studying. Thus making her a Master.

Just have five or six doctors, max population, and don't re-start the fire.

People get sick, doctors get 115 people to ply their trade with, and there are plenty of doctors to heal sick doctors.

They usually study untill they are adept. But! if you look at the potions, you can make a stew and have them near by to heal them. Then ther's the events, which make them sick. Hope that helps and good luck.

When you think about it, it's just like real life. Doctors study until they are adept, then they learn by healing people. Real doctors don't study in medical school all their life.

they maybe awfully lazy but you need them, i had a few master doctors and people just fell sick even though there health bar was full, so you need the doctors
