Before scientist discovered DNA and before we'd ever heard of cloning, all people worried about was having a healthy baby.

I call it quits if genetics remotely enters into the game. We have enough of that in the real world. I could care less with whom my virtual villager got PG, as long as the game is entertaining. Any one wanting a perfect 10 in life or in a game, should do so at their own expense.
This is not specifically addressed to LadyCFII, this is my personal opinion. I'm aware there's a lot of youngsters in this forum, but sometimes, even they, need to be rained in.

....but swedane, this is just a bit of fun, to make the game more interesting if you've played it a few hundred times before (like some of us have it feels like :P :P)

If you think about it, all we're doing here is putting a blonde woman with a blonde man and getting a blonde child. Or a brown haired man with a brown haired woman to get a brown haired child. Surely that happens every single minute of every day in the 'real' world with parents and children.

Yes there are lots of debates and arguments about genetics in the real world, and people trying to make certain things happen. But this is NOT the place to be having those debates!

These are pixellated characters governed by a computer program with a formula that says Person A + Person B gives Person C. Nothing to do with DNA, cloning, OR health.

This way of playing the game has nothing to do with trying to find "perfection" (what is perfect even in Villagers?! one person's ugly kid is another's Seth Green hehe!), it's just a bit of fun to see which hair colours will come up with which pairings.

What is being said here is there is enough pressure in real life to look perfect than to worry about it in a game.
