Ghin is now 18 years old, and he was either 17 or 18 when two odd incidents occurred. First he stopped working and headed for the beach, with his Action box showing, "Teaching."The second time was a few minutes later, when the box showed, "Telling a story." No child or adult followed or stopped to listen to him on either occasion.

HUH?????

Is Ghin precocious? Delusions of grandeur? Aspirations for chieftainship? My chief, Ahai, was 9 when he vested himself, and he's now only 32. Is Ghin planning a revolution? ... Should I stop asking questions and just let things unfold?

It's these kinds of things that villagers do time to time, as "Complaining" or "telling a joke" etc. \:\)

If your villager makes a revolution, please tell us!
And, no, don't stop ask questions! We are here for that and for answering!! ;\)

Telling a joke? Cool! I've seen complaining, and I LOVE the "Secretly Practicing a Dance," but I have yet to "hear" a joke.

These little extras are delightful! Have you seen a villager leap off the side of the bath? What a hoot! Thanks, LDW - bravo!!!

I think that it's just one of those things that villagers sometimes do for no real reason too, but it's still wierd and funny. \:\? \:D

Telling a joke is in VV2, I am pretty sure! I love how the little kids are "amazed" by the statue. You should see the size of it compared to them!

Yes, "Telling a joke", Teaching", "Telling a story", and so on are all random actions that villagers carry out from time to time. Often there's no apparent "subject" of their attentions; the other villager will have got bored and moved off (sometimes before they get there) so they appear to be talking to the ocean or a tree or whatever.
