1. I'm trying to get 4 builders to build another hut so that I can have more children but everytime I check on them again, they seemed to be interested in "moving rubble" near the bath!

2. Will sick children or adults lie on the medi beds when they r sick?

3. What is the significance of having a chief at the beginning of the game? I lost one worker when I first started to become a chief but all she does is "contemplating the tribe" - will she gain more skills making the potions?

Lastly, I found out something cool - the children can actually pick herbs as well! Quicker than adults. Sometimes I wish they can move abit quicker - is it me or do the adults move slightly slower in VV3?

Thanks 4 all your suggestions

1. I'm sure by now there's one of those scaffolding things on the rubble, right? Well, that's why they keep going there. In fact, if you started removing the leaves and have at least 1% gone than the people will also keep heading over there. You're probably going to have to keep putting them back on the hut.

Also, be warned!! Food is very scarce at the beginning. Once the honey is gone it's hours before you'll get more food. Too many people and your villagers will starve!

2. The fastest way I've found to find out a villager is sick is to click on the chief. Once someone is sick his action will say, "Worried about the sick". The people will eventually make their way to the hospital although they may go to the food bin and to get a drink first. Depends on how long they've been sick.

3. The chief can make magic food every 24 hours (real time). Put him or her on the food bin and watch what happens. Once you have level 2 of Leadership he or she can do another thing once a day. Level 3 gives you another. I won't say here but it is in the ? on the Leadership thing in Tech.

4. I thought they moved slower, but then I got my new laptop and they move pretty well on that. The game takes a lot of memory, I think.

Hope this helps!!

The chief will also direct work (e.g. research, harvesting, and building projects), and that helps increase the villagers' productivity. Just drop your chief where you want him or her to direct work. It's not a good idea to just let your chief wander around and do "whatever." \:\)

(SPOILER)Hello Beenaberry,

Let me see if I can answer your questions. In question 1 you state that there are builders who get distracted and start building on other projects. This is true. I, myself, have had the same issues. It seems to me that if you intruduce them to one task at a time, they will work on that project. It seems that if you do not show them other things to do, they don't know about them. This does not mean you won't find them doing other tasks on the island such as laundry or bathing but at least they will stay more focused on what you want them to do and not what they want to do.

The answer to question 2 is yes, sort of. Sick villagers will migrate to the hospital area but won't necessarily lie straight on the beds themselves. When they are sick, they sort of sit or lay around the whole area.

I will answer question 3 but you have to realize that this is my own personal way of playing the game and not necessily the "correct" way. I do not find a chief until I have played the game for several hours. I only find a cheif when my food supply is low and the chief can help. I find, like you, when you find a chief early in the game, you lose a builder or a farmer. I hold off as long as I can.

Children find herbs is a wonderful thing. It helps to progress faster because the children are faster than adults. Are vv3 villagers slower than vv2 villagers? I really do not know the answer to this but I don't think so. I may be wrong but I haven't noticed a significant difference.

I hope this helps you out.
