I think that if this game were revamped a little (upgraded physics and sounds, deeper gameplay, stuff like that) this game could be the "Nintendogs" of Palm OS. I think that would be awesome!

Is there any plans to upgrade LPP? For example, it might be cool to have 2 pets in the same yard so that they could play with each other.

We do talk about it. We only have 24 hours in the day, unfortunately, and we are still busy with Village Sim for Mac and PC.

As soon as anything is definite, we always post news here first.

Im happy enough just to know its a consideration.

I've tried searching far and wide for a virtual pet for Palm, and no such luck thus far, aside of course, from LPP.

I've also talked to alot of people who are very keen on having a pet for their pda's. I personally would like to see a pet that can grow and change, somthing more interactive. Of course im happy to await the completion of Village Sim for pc

I've mentioned it before but it may be worth consideration again. I think it would be cool to revamp LPP and use the "sim" mentality. In other words, have you pet work to learn tricks and use them to perform at dog shows with the ultimate goal of having your pet "Best in Show" Don't know how you would implement that but I think it's a cool idea .
