My sims have had babies in the funniest way. One female sims i clicked on was showing as going in doors. I didnt see a male near her so i waited to see who would follow her inside. She entered the love shack alone, and another couple headed to the love shack. Before the second couple entered, the first female sims popped out then a baby appeared in her arms (who ever was her partner never showed). The second couple did enter but the female didnt get pregnant. The second funny way a female got preggy, while some sims were at the ruins restoring it, a male and a female appeared to "go in doors", I wanted them to work on the ruins so i pulled them back to work (they only got as far as right outside the ruin circle before i pulled them back. No soon as I pull the female back in the circle, a baby popped into her arms This game is so cute! I like the fact that most if not all the sims have their own look.

The way that breeding works in Village Sim has produced some hilarious discussions, as you can imagine! If you're interested in seeing some of that fun stuff, you could do a search on breeding. But, to get you started, here's a link to one of the threads.
