Im having trouble understanding how it decides my max village population. Ive made the 2nd hut, and I can only have a max pop. of 6 people (according to the stats) but in the strat guide on the site, it says that i should be able to make much more than 6.

If the only thing Im missing is more tech upgrades, then Im sorry and will continue playing. If not, what am i doing wrong? thanks!

If I understand correctly the "stats" tell you the maximum village population that you have had during the game, not the maximum that you are able to have. Try breeding: it should work!
