Hey, if it is possible do you think you can send me a message on how you did that. I would love a undead army of workers ( sounds a little creepy though)

Isn't it cool? Now I turn my army to the task . . . of taking over the entire . . . island. Ohhhhhhhhhhh why can't you tell us? I don't see the big deal The big deal is, this post doesn't stay up if tell you what it originally contained, (For all of less than a minute) or even make reference to it. Lady CFII was quite kind in relenting and permitting this post under the circumstances that those references were removed, an accommodation she didn't have to make. If you want to know why, check the posting guidelines - they're stickied at the top of every forum. You'll find the reason it was originally removed. Making use of PM's would still be making use of the forum, and against the guidelines. Besides . . . take my word for it, playing such a village honestly isn't a great deal of fun. And yes, imagine a village full of JoATs, from the newborns to the elders, and after a time-warp, finding triple-centenarians, zero deaths, and them all running around like busy little beavers. My own personal zombie army, yes.

You're very, very close to the reason it was taken down, Laurence. I had a lot of fun making it. But seeing your villagers effortlessly swarm and defeat every task just wouldn't be much fun. I imagine you'd be shocked at what such a village could do, though. It's just that doing things so easily is . . . meh.

... I imagine you'd be shocked at what such a village could do, though. .... It's difficult to shock me! Except if it's violent! and it doesn't shock me, it makes me sad and angry (and maybe a little scared of course)

Okay . . . the jig is up. I intended from the start to reveal how I did this, and here's where I spill the beans. I wanted the accomplishment to stay up a while, long enough to stir up some interest before letting the secret out. Let's hope it gets read at least a few times before it dies forever. So brace yourselves; this is as bad as any spoiler, so I'm putting a spoiler tag here; highlight the text to reveal it.
- Step 1: First, get the game running.
- Step 2: Find a villager with the traits that you desire; either the full health bar, or a mastered skill, or some nice likes/dislikes.
- Step 3: Take a screenshot, and open up photoshop.
I hear the chorus now. Whaaaaaaaaaaat?!? What the heck are you making mods for?!? I'll tell you why.
Because it's a hoax. I saved images, sliced them apart, and re-arranged them. The font for the age, by the way, seems to perfectly match Arial, at 18 points. The screen for the details screen was used to obtain the blank for the 'age' panel. The guiding hand was also obtained there, and moved for almost every image I saved. 'Running' was simply copied from one villager, and applied to all. A single mastered skill was copied to cover every skill, and portraits from many villager screenshots were copied in and cropped, one for each photo.
Please don't be angry, okay? I'm just trying to bring something fresh in, something interesting to the forums. What's more interesting than zombie armies of villagers? I tell you, I come on each day, and it's a three to one chance that the most interesting posts will be "HELP!!! Statue won't move!!!" and "Things you've said while playing VV".
Until the new game comes out, this place will be a little slow, so I'm just trying to keep things interesting. Unfortunately, I'm not able to post anything I really DO accomplish of this nature; the board's rules against hacking are pretty explicit. If I hadn't assured CFII that this was a photoshop hoax, it would never have seen the light of day.
I never really work with animations... all I have is UNfreeze, which pretty much doesn't do anything, it's so primitive. Perhaps that explains why I never do animations, actually.

It's a Jack of All Trades - a master in all five skills Lurkily!! That was a classic!! I thought you would have messed with the log files (somehow) and changed the exp points earned! Not that it's possible but that was my guess. You were definitely right when you said this place needed livening up! Hey, anything's possible, right? I have a lot of knowledge (with a couple other members' help about VV2, but not so much about VV3. I can't post some things, though, I'm afraid. Besides, if I had messed with the save files, (not that it's possible) CFII wouldn't have permitted this post. As I mentioned, only because it was a photoshop hoax, was it permitted. I'm just glad I could liven the place up for a while. Now . . . what shall I try next?

HPVV, look up. At this post. You'll want to read the spoiler, too. Besides, a love of learning, I would think, operates the same way as a dislike of learning; that is, it only helps gain the first notch of skill; even disliking learning is not a disability once they earn their first stripes.

Actually.... I DO have an army of JOATs! They aren't undead, but they were all masters at every skill before the age of 14. My youngest was 3 and I did this without cheating (no photoshop tricks or time travel), although it was slow and painful... To learn how, here's the spoiler: Get far enough in a tribe so that the chief can educate children. Have all the women in your village give birth to as many kids as possible. Repeat this until the oldest child is no older than 10 years old (to be on the safe side). Then, keep the game paused, and only unpause it long enough to have the chief teach the children once a day and then pause it again. Repeat this EVERYDAY FOR ~2 MONTHS. That will be enough to make all of your children JOATs and on the 2x game speed it will take about 1.5 VV years, so your oldest chld should now be ~12. Again, this is not very fun, it will take forever, but it works! But if you play this as a side village, you too can have your very own army of JOATs! UNEDITED:
