ok, where do I start? At first I had a GREAT village going in my trial version. Then I bought the game and ever since then it's been problematic! I ended up deleting my first village because my unlock code didn't work, come to find out I didn't have to. Then I decided to play with the time thing to see what would happen. Killed everyone except 2 2 year olds. figured It couldn't be worse so I did it again and had to grown men with 3019 food and no women! Tried to restart the game and got FATAL ERROR message. Everytime I try to restart it does that! I have a sony clie tj27. any ideas?

You don't say exactly what kind of Fatal Error message you're getting, but that kind of problem is usually caused by a corrupted savegame file. With all that your game has been through, the best thing to do at this point might be to completely uninstall the game (from both internal memory and the expansion card, as appropriate - crashes can leave remnants in both places) and reinstall it. That way you should be able to start cleanly and will probably be fine.

yeah, I have done that a few times. I just won't mess with the time thing anymore. right now, I still have six villagers, level2 harvest and they still Have their bush. I figuresd out not to have them all farming because the bush will strip with only 2000 tech points. and not to breed them until you have level 2 harvest! the error message is when I try to dtart a new game it says fatal error , you must perform a soft restart. then the game is the same. it won't make a new game.

You might try a patched version of Village Sim that fixes a bug that causes crashes when you start a new game:

You need to completely uninstall your original game from both main memory and the card, if applicable, or you will continue to have problems. Crashes usually leave orphaned files that need to be removed.

Thanks for the info. I think I will be ok for right now as long as I don't play with the settings. when everyond dies again I will try the new file. nothing is saved to my card by the way.
