according to my stats, 1 event has occured. i think i missed it. unless it was that stinkin' monkey who stole all my tech points!!!! is there any way to see what the event was?

also, i've been playing for 8 real time hours, and i've only amassed 6k tech points. it's going reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy slow. is there any way to speed up the tech points?
