Since I finished up "clearing the rubble" there have been NO tablet pieces!!! Was I supposed to wait until I collected all the tablet pieces to finish clearing the rubble? If it helps, I have "version 4". I have found all of the fethers, all but 1 of the coral, all but the last key, and all but 2 turtle shells. I haven't even gotten all of the "common" tablet pieces!!!

Is this a glitch or am I just BLIND?

Tablet pieces appear where the rubble is, so there is noo need to search all over the island. They are also kind of rare, so I suggest being patient and keeping your eye out of a tablet piece.

No, you do not need to wait to finish collecting all the tablet pieces before clearing the rubble. Just keep a watchful eye on the rubble area for the missing tablet pieces to appear. They appear very, very infrequently so don't be alarmed if you do not see any for a long while. Only the missing ones will appear.
