I've looked through the discussions and reviewed the strategy guide and still can't figure how to put out fire for last key in VV3. Fire has been going for many hours more than necessary. Can someone give me a hint?

I do have one thing that's a little puzzling; my fire on regular speed was at over 600 hours. I had a villager put more wood on the fire and now I'm at 19 hours. Has anyone else had that happen? I have the updated version of the game. I'd appreciate if anyone can tell me if they have had a similar thing happen.

That can happen if your computer's clock changes or if you pause frequently. I had it happen after a long session of mushroom hunting. Suddenly my fire was going to last until long after I'm dead... LOL. Adding more wood fixed it.
