I think that some day,
when I get quite rich,
I'll endow a fund,
for friends such as this.

Then when you write,
to say you can't pay,
I'll offer a grant,
so all kids can play!

Alas, this fun time,
isn't quite here,
because, as you know,
I'm quite poor my dears!

with nary a thought,
for poems you see,
is all that I've got!
