All my tribes in VV 1, 2, 3 are running in slow speed (or 1/2 speed) when I have completed them and I still get events each day!!

You don't get events when your game is in Pause.

I have VV1 and 2 on Slow and I have finished them and never get an event per day. and they are never on pause, hmmmm

I also saw that prince and princess message I don't know. I also have 2 VV3 games going.

There is a event that has a royal couple seen by a villager, in a reflection over their shoulder; nothing's there when he looks up. That might be the event you mean. If you mean the cutscene about the nature and magic tribes, that's a story of the past, not the present.

Edit:If you messed with your system clock at all, this can disrupt events; otherwise, I can't say why; you should be getting one every 24 hours.

My current (first) tribe is following Nature. I'm thinking of starting another for Magic.

And I missed your post, Isla. Yes, I'm doing my breeding quite scientifically, using the order listed in male_heads.png to both color the population, and to breed out the misfits. They're always my builders, or late game, farmers - hard labor for you! My management of my villagers could probably put some WWII atrocities to shame.
