Spok's choice of words was definitely harsh, but I must admit, I have nurtured thoughts of how satisfying it would be to be able to smack Arthur now and then (not too hard! lol)... as he knows very well, my unbridled dislike for kids who CRAWL simply because they don't like running. I don't like having to not play the game to get really ancient elders (I'd much rather invest time feeding and caring for them to achieve this), and I've noticed that I get a far faster turnover of events if I don't pause the game...(sometimes in 13 hours - far less than the once-a-day period) which in essence means the best gameplay is weighted somewhat on the side of leaving your village unattended.
Ok, end of my semi-rant... VV is still the very best game of its kind, and many years after starting with the original VV tribes for pda's, I'm still as hooked on the game, and enjoying watching the development of so many personalities
