I have 2 breeding age females. I've put them both together with all my guys. I get the "going indoors" and "this villager improved at parenting" but I get no babies. Now my youngest (girl) is too old to see the collectibles but not old enough to breed.

Are you at a population max? If not, keep trying and eventually they will get pregnant. Don't wait for them to go indoors. Just keep putting them atop each other until you get a baby.

Yes I learned that with the first VV. I've been trying but not getting anywhere.

You may need to finish a hut first.

Of course after that last post I went to try again and it worked. Must have been the stew.
