I have 2 simpeople at the moment with the same name - a bit confusing. Does that happen often?

It's a normal thing to have two or more villagers with the same name, especially as your population gets pretty large. Just like in real life, a given group of people will often have more than one person with the same name. In Village Sim it's names like Cheop and Etini instead of Mike and Debbie!

I only have 10 villagers...

I've had games that start with two villagers of the same name. The good news is that even if they have the same name, they are rarely identical. When that happens it can get really confusing.
