I was on the game and it started blinking. I went to the menu and switched to another tribe. When I tried to switch back, I couldn't click on my original tribe. So I closed the game, opened it back up, and that tribe was gone.

Is there a way to get that back through the files?

If your backup savegame file is intact, this procedure should help you.

Your best defense against losing any kind of file on your computer is to make regular backups, since things can, and do, go wrong with computer programs and hardware. The procedure for backing up VV3 savegame files is here.
