How does the chief point out collectables? I can't find the answer in any previous posts. I know a rainbow goes over their head like when the create magic food. Do you drop your chief on various parts of the Island?

You drop him on the top part of the path (where the door is). When he points, start looking around. The collectible could be anywhere, because the direction he points in does not matter. Do not pause the game or it could cause the collectible to not appear at all. It could take several minutes for it to appear.

The description for Leadership tech says, "Level 3 lets your chief help a child locate a rare collectible when you place the chief at the top of the path!" Is that not clear enough to help people understand how to make it happen?

No it definatly does!! I thought it meant the path to the collectable, not the actual...well path! I had a brain lapse. Same one I had when I couldn't make the bees go away. Times like those, someone should just smack you on the forehead and go "duh"

I think a lot of people don't read the information, or don't actually push the '?' button, or forget it and don't re-check. Perhaps an event ocurring right after teching describing your new capabilities would help?
