He's not actually "going to the hut with two females," despite what it looks like. Things like that happen when two (or more) couples have kissed at about the same time, and one of the villagers is either interrupted (in which case they won't go to the hut at all) or walks at a significantly different speed than the other (such as an elderly male who arrives at the hut long after the others have left). It has always worked like that in every VV game.
