--I found all 7 magic fish, and would like to keep the 7 as my screensaver. Does anybody remember how to get the blue-finned leaffish? (I don't know if it's #2 or #4)
--Does anybody know how many species there are in total?
--Somebody mentioned "21 perfect fish". What is that about?

Welcome to the forums!! They can be a bit daunting the first time you use them, and it can be difficult to find what you're looking for!

There's a nice discussion here that will answer your question about the perfect fish and give you a pretty good idea how many fish there are.

The best way to get breeding combinations for specific fish is to use the Clever Arts web site (there are waaaaay too many possibilities to list here).

I just started working on Plant Tycoon. I hope it's as great as Fish Tycoon!! (BTW, the 21 perfect fish seems to be too subjective for me. I need that validation: "You found The Magic Fish of..."

I agree that the "perfect fish" can be pretty subjective. Some are obvious, others are a matter of individual preference. They're not really an "official goal" of the game, but it can be fun to experiment with them and see which ones you think fit!

Oh my gosh. Thanks for the link Ladycfii. I was going crazy trying to keep all my fish types straight. I tried an Excel spreadsheet and, 2 glasses of wine and several sore fingers later, gave up. Enjoyed the wine though With that link you gave us, I have a great idea of the different fin and body types and can now identify my fish with. It's a great time saver. Thanks again!

at what age is a fish an adult or fully grown?

A fish is fully grown at age 20. It will be very obvious when that happens, as the appearance of the fish changes significantly.

How much does the average fish sell for?

Most of the common fish (the ones you get at the beginning of the game) sell for less than $10. There are a few that sell for more than that.

Hybrid fish can sell for upwards of $50 to $100, but require better Fish Environment or they will lose health and die. Magic Fish sell for the most money (more than $100), but they will not survive to adulthood without better Fish Environment than you start the game with.
