I cant seem to hear any music and cant figure out why. Please help.

It would be helpful to know what device you are running Village Sim on (Palm, Clie, etc.) and whether you installed it in main memory or on an expansion card. However, there are a few general things you can check to make sure that it's not something simple.

The first thing to check is to make sure that you loaded at least one of the music files when you installed the game. They are not automatically installed when you install Village Sim. Also, make sure that the music isn't turned off in the Village Sim game preferences.

If you are running Zlauncher, you should try putting the music files in internal RAM, if you run the game off the card through ZLauncher. (Some of the beta testers discovered this during testing.)

If none of that helps, please provide additional information about your device and how you installed Village Sim, and we'll help you figure it out.

ladycfi: do you have any experience when launching the program through powerrun? i use both zlauncher and powerrun and also do not hear music. i do hear occasional sound effects, but i am of the opinion that i never heard music in my weeks of playing.

It would be helpful to know what device you're having problems with. If it's a Sony Clie, you might look at this post.. Installing the MCA hack worked for one of the beta testers who happened to be running Village Sim on an NX-70V, also using Powerrun.
