Today when I opened my game I saw a feather by my woodpile and went to get a child to drop on it....but when I found one a villager that I thought was an adult grabbing wood was picking up....the kid picked it up by itself!!!!!! I was just wondering if anybody has had this happen? Do the kids do this by themselves now or is this a bug? This is my first tribe with this game it has been running since the release date, I have all of the puzzles done with the nature fraction.

In theory, kids are supposed to collectible-hunt on their own. (Ever select a child and have it say that they're "Looking for mushrooms"?) In practice, kids suck at finding stuff, and usually will walk right over it.

I'm going to but in on this thread instead of creating a new one:
I know that after the first time you collect an item all after that will result in tech points. Common Items are always 100pts. But Uncommon and Rare seem to have different values. Does anyone how much each is worth?

What about feathers? There are only two lines of feathers the rest of the collectables have three lines. Does it go from 100 to 1500?

Feathers line up differently. The four on the right side are rare - both the top two, and bottom two. Of the others, the top are common, and the bottom uncommon.

If you mouse-over each slot, it will tell you what kind of item it is - that is, common, uncommon, or rare.
