Is there ANY way to make a villager who dislikes running move faster? Nope. Even when "running" away from something else they dislike, or when they are the recipient of unwelcome advances, they will still move at a snail's pace. As had been said, they don't have to move far in research, and parenting for a slow female is another career option. I have succeeded in getting a slow villager to an Esteemed Elderhood a couple of times, but not often. They tend to die first ...

die of natural causes???? Yes! I've haven't (yet) given up on any villager, no matter how slow or recalcitrant. All my villagers have died old old age (or bites by fire ants, or starvation, or disease, or hubris in banging the gong, or ...)

I can't say that.
When a woman reaches 50, she is put in a yellow dress. Anyone who dislikes running gets the yellow dress or a yellow shirt for the men.
