I'd gotten to the point in my second tribe where the next thing for them to do was repair the statue. So, I dropped my Master Builder on the chalkboard and he drew up the plans for the bath again! The bath is done, aromatherapy and everything. If I put him back by the chalkboard, he refuses and I get the message "This plan needs to be followed first." Everything went fine with my first tribe. How do I get rid of the bath plans and get someone to draw up the statue plans?

which version do you have?

(When you go in the "Menu" of your game, it's in the left bottom)

And the puzzle of the bath is shown as resolved?

Do you have the 3th level in both Leadership and Restoration?

I did my plans for the statue without Leadership Level three, and the picture is sort of blurry but if you look closely at it you can tell what it is.

This may seem obvious, but are you absolutely sure that the statue plans aren't already on the chalkboard? Many people have mistaken one for the other, and we have had no reports of problems with the bath plans getting "stuck." I have repeatedly tested this part of the game, and have seen the plans work perfectly every time (regardless of whether puzzle 12 is complete or not).

If you have level 3 in both restoration and leadership, what happens when you drop a builder on the path near the statue?

It's definately the bath plans - round with steps. Anyway, I put the builder on the path, and he built the scaffold, so work on the statue has begun. Many thanks! By the way, I wanted to attach pictures of the plans, but can't find the File Manager on my Posting Form. I used Reply and not Quick Reply, as it advised to do in How to Post a Picture. I don't know what I am doing wrong this time!

It appears that when this forum was created, attachments were not enabled. I have corrected that oversight and would be very interested in seeing your screen shots. \:\)

Well, this is a bit embarrassing! I just took a closer look at the plans that are drawn for the statue in a game that I have saved at that point. It appears that both plans are superimposed on the chalkboard. No wonder there is confusion.

I thought they looked a little messy, but I didn't actually compare them to the image file for the statue plans until just now. Bad testing!!!!

Second picture (villagers working on statue) doesn't seem to want to be copied. Here's my puzzle page with bath puzzle completed.

That's interesting. Apparently, the bath plans were drawn without the statue plans in your case. I haven't seen that before. Do you remember what order you completed the puzzles and did your tech purchases?

I think I did something like: 2, 3, 6, 1, 10, 11, 4, 7, 8, 5, 9, before I attempted to start the statue. All I can remember about the tech is that I had that all completed before I started the statue (magic faction). Though I still don't understand why everything went all right in my 1st game. Aren't you so happy that we all keep bringing these weirdnesses to your attention?! You must spend all your time reading and replying to posts. Thamks for your help.

Thanks for the additional information. The problem with many bugs is that they only appear under certain conditions. Those intermittent bugs are the hardest to find and fix. At least it's only a case of the wrong image being used occasionally, and it doesn't affect the ability to complete the puzzle.

I was just checking my game and both images are on my chalkboard, no wonder I thought the picture was blurry.

OK, I have experienced this as well. Nature faction. All research complete. Last completed were faction level 3 and Leadership 3.

I suspect my problem is that because this is my second tribe, I completed the bath and aromatherapy puzzles without drawing plans.

Placing the Master Builder on the path does indeed produce the scaffold, and now work is continuing apace on moving the statue.

(Oh, by saying the same experience I mean that the chalkboard shows plans for the bath AND the statue.)

Hi,

after reading this post I went and checked my own game and found the same issue. I have got level 3 restoration tech but still level 2 leadership so I haven't started trying to actually finish the statue. I have completed puzzles 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8,
10, 11, 13 and 14.

I have game version 1.00.04

Is there a problem with my game?

Thanks,

Polly

It's a minor bug in the display of the plan images that won't affect your ability to finish the game.
