My first villager are starting to die, I've been marking their grave stones with "Beloved Original Villager" I want to acknowledge the first child born on the island but don't know if it is my 49yr old or my 45yr old. I've been playing for approx. 58 Isola years, and my Tribal Chief is 67yrs old. I know he was in his twenties when game started. But if age years and Isola years are the same...he would have been 9yrs old. Can anyone elaborate? It is important to me because it is my first tribe and I am just sentimental about it.

The number of years depends on what speed you are playing the game. The approx. time-frame for fast speed is aging one year in an hour, normal is aging one year in two hours, and slow is aging one year in four hours. This doesn't account for time pausing the game or going into special screens.

Do you have your tribe set on slow, normal, or fast?

The way I try to remember who my first ones were and who the first baby born was is that the game starts with 8 people, including the little baby. Therefore, the eldest should be the first baby born. But I am tired, so I can't think it through to determine if this would ALWAYS be the case or not. I usually end up getting to know the first 8 to 12 villagers really well though, so I normally remember which ones were the first ones. It's after they get more than 12 to 15 that I start having problems knowing and remembering who they all are.

I don't know if that will help you figure it out or not.

I add a prefix to names of the villagers to indicate which generation they are. Maybe that would help you too.

I play at all different slow and fast depending on if any of my villagers are pregnant. I think I got it figured out by looking at my older villagers and seeing who looks like who. I have figured out that my 49yr old was the first child on the island. And the 45 yr old was the first born on the island. Thanks everyone!
