My village is pretty much an amazazon village and Im curious if this is normal or just very unlucky I have 17 population and 14 of them are women...this greatly upsets me is it completely random or is there something I can do to get more males...

It's just random (or I guess unlucky- depends how you look at it). There are some events that may help you but your best bet is just breeding. I'll cross my fingers for you

my village has always been pretty even in the whole guy/girl ratio thing.

I have the opposite problem....I keep getting male children!!! The ratio would probably be about 1 in 5 children are female
Very frustrating...but hey if life wasn't challenging it wouldn't be as much fun or so I'm told
