I am not looking for spoilers or to complain I just need to vent my spleen! Now that I have a special plant almost all of my potions blow up. I am running low on food and can't afford to wait until I have enough points for level 3 alchemy but every blimin potion I make blows up.

Every time I make a villager make a potion, I watch behind my fingers yet they go and make it without question. My poor elderly villagers 'run away' so slowly that I am on to the next one before they have got to the entrance off the lab.

Happened to me with my first tribe. But I think it was just a coincidence. Just insist with different villagers. I think l2 alchemy is enough to make the needed potion. Maybe you'd like to peek a little to potion recipies in guides section.

Have you tried using the TC? He or she I think reduces the accidents...

Tried all of those thimgs - just bad luck I suppose. I have now noticed that my TC was lecturing my tribe's children with a skeleton in his hands 0 is there something wrong with my bunch?

I think it's luck - until you have L3 Alchemy, there's a random chance that each potion will blow up. L2 Alchemy makes the chance smaller, but doesn't make it zero.
It doesn't matter what potion you are trying to make, either.

I don't know if the potion-maker's skill helps, either - the TC might or might not make a difference. I always try to use a skilled scientist, but don't know what that does.

I've had random strings of luck - sometimes I could make several potions in a row without explosion, sometimes I would get several explosions in a row. Kinda like rolling dice (sometimes you get the same number a bunch of times, sometimes you don't).

Even l3 alchemy doesn't make the chance of an accident zero. My potions did blow up a few times long after I bought l3 alchemy (last time some 30 scientists were working on the lab and it was funny to watch all of them running)

when you have level 3 alchemy, your not supposed to have any more accidents. I would report that as a _bug_.

There is a small chance (on the order of 1%) of having an explosion at L3 of Alchemy. We are aware of that.
